About Dr. Bryan Mark Rigg:
Dr. Rigg is a highly accomplished author, military historian, and educator with an impressive academic and professional background. A graduate of Yale University with honors in history, German studies, and English, he was awarded the prestigious Henry Fellowship to Cambridge University, where he earned his M.A. and Ph.D. He is a retired Marine officer, having served in the United States Marine Corps, and a veteran of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF). His research and publications, including the acclaimed Hitler’s Jewish Soldiers and Rescued from the Reich, have earned him widespread recognition.
In addition to his academic pursuits, Dr. Rigg is a dedicated financial planner and a devoted father and husband, with deep connections to Sweden through his wife, Dr. Emelie Karlsson from Småland. Their shared Scandinavian heritage adds a personal dimension to his engagement with our community.
