SACC TX - Houston Invites You to Traditional Swedish Thursday
Join us and friends from other Nordic and European Chambers of Commerce in Houston for a night of networking and traditional Swedish food!
A Swedish traditional meal of Pea-soup, Pancakes, Punch, Beer, Wine and the addition of Champagne will be served at Chef Søren's Kitchen.
Our March Speaker is Madeleine Onne;
Former Swedish Principal Dancer at the Royal Swedish Ballet (1984-2002), Royal Court Dancer 1995, Artistic Director at The Royal Swedish Ballet (2002-2008) and The Hong Kong Ballet (2009-2017). Starting in August 2018 , Madeleine will assume the position of Artistic Director at The Finnish National Ballet.
Madeleine established herself as a dancer with formidable artistic force in the international dance world, and is renowned for her engaging style and dramatic talent.
Since Madeleine ended her active carrier as a dancer in 2002, there has been much demand for her work as a judge at international ballet competitions around the World.
This is just a very brief introduction about Madeleine. Come and join us and enjoy listening to Madeleine's amazing story about how to deal with challenges, success, family life, a Passion and work bringing her all over the world.
Madeleine and her family is leaving Houston in June 2018 so this may be your last opportunity to meet and listen to her in many years.
